How to Cook Perfect Rice



Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked jasmine rice, washed

1 ½ cups water


Method:

Add jasmine rice and water to a pot and bring to a boil. Stir, cover and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes (do not lift the lid during this time). Remove from heat and let stand, covered for 5 minutes then fluff with a fork and serve.


Notes:

1 cup uncooked rice yields approx. 3 cups cooked rice
