Crispy Chicken Burgers


Free range chicken breast or thighs, cut into steaks ⭑

Mackenzie wholegrain bun, halved ⭑

Classic coleslaw (cabbage, carrot, mayonnaise and sweet chili sauce)

Sliced gherkin, jarred

Olive oil ⭑

Seasoned flour:

1 tablespoon corn flour

1 tablespoon plain flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sweet paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Chinese five spice

Method: Coat chicken in seasoned flour, heat oil in a pan over a medium to high heat and cook chicken until crispy and cooked through. Prepare coleslaw (1 part mayo to 1 part sweet chili per serve) and simply add all desired ingredients to a bun and assemble.
